London Wishlist

Hello to my few devout followers! I regret to inform you all that I have been too busy to post a look this week. Amidst birthday gift planning, fantastic cooking days, and dance recitals, all with my two besties, I regrettably have not had the time to whip out the tripod and take pictures. I will, however, be headed to London in 11 days, so I thought I would make a quick post revealing my "London wishlist"! Obviously, as one of the biggest fashion capitals in the world, there are an infinite number of things that I want (and can't have with a limited budget). I will, however, create a brief list of the things that I will hopefully be able to acquire from this marvelous fashion destination!

 1.

I have wanted a Burberry trench coat for the longest time, and every time I've brought the idea up to my parents, their response has always been the same evasive one: "Maybe when you're older, Corey." Well GUESS WHAT MOTHER, I AM OLDER NOW, and I think after 3 years of begging, it is the perfect moment to invest in such a timeless classic. I've been browsing the Burberry site non-stop for the past week trying to decide between the Burberry London trenches, which are a bit more formal and use "better" materials, and the Burberry Brit trenches, which are a bit more casual and affordable, yet maintain the timeless elegance that Burberry exudes.

After a week of contemplating,  I have decided on a black Burberry Brit trench, pictured below. I really love this particular trench coat, as it includes the lovely belt and the epaulets that add a lovely military flair. Also, black is such a versatile colour, allowing me to wear the trench casually with skinny jeans and military boots, or maintain a formal elegance with loafers and slim black trousers.

2.

I've wanted to buy a nice brown leather satchel since university started, as they look so great and are so much more convenient than lugging a tote around all day. After doing a bit of research, I found a fantastic UK brand called Scaramanga that produces beautiful leather satchels. The reviews online say that Scaramanga satchels are fantastic quality, and for a super reasonable price!

Pictured below is the satchel I will be ordering to my dorm. I have yet to decide whether I like the distressed leather or the polished tan leather, but I think I am leaning towards the latter at the moment.

Let me preface this item by saying that Mulberry is one of my favourite brands EVER. I love their beautiful and elegant bags, their quality leather, and the lovely tree logo (I promise I'm not being paid by them to say this stuff, although that would be nice...). When I saw this bag in the SALE SECTION (how can anyone resist a sale), I did a little fanboy squeal and immediately told myself that I needed this bag. It is a bit pricey, but the fact that it has been discounted by almost £250 makes it even more appealing.

Pictured below is the Postman's Lock Backpack that I am obsessed with. I absolutely ADORE the black leather with the contrasting gold Mulberry Postman's Lock (another reason I love Mulberry), and the fact that it can be transformed from briefcase to backpack to messenger bag makes it extremely versatile and useful! I really hope that the Mulberry stores in London have this beautiful bag in stock!

Thank you so much for viewing my London wishlist! I will try to get a look up by early this coming week!
